Hostcomm has added another innovative product to its range of hosted business voip services. VistaVoip is a hosted PBX service which gives you all of the usual PBX features like call recording, call queueing, conferencing and voicemail and it also has a unique java operator console designed to sit on each PC and provide a range of leading edge features.
The operator console is a Java-based software application for managing and viewing all phone calls realtime. The application which can be installed on desktop PCs and features the lastest "drag and drop" functionality and presence information. VistaVoip can be used as a traditional business telephone system or advanced call centre.
Once installed the operator console provides the user with a great deal of visibility compared to a normal telephone system. It also provides the following features:
- Click to dial - call your colleagues and external numbers with a click of the mouse.
- Drag and Drop - add staff to queues & conferences, park calls, transfer calls with your mouse.
- View queues - see waiting callers and view inbound call statistics real time.
- View presence and line status - see the status of your staff in real time.
- Call recording - record your calls for compliance and training.
The ability to see active calls on a PC for your whole organisation and use the 'drag and drop' features really simplifies the day to day telephony tasks. The active presence which includes a real time status indicator (talking, ringing, ready) so that you dont waste time playing telephone 'tag'.
VistaVoip also provides specific call centre functionality and can be used solely for this purpose with features like call queueing, ACD, IVR, call recording, time of day call routing and customisable voice messages. Calls can be seen coming into queues and can be routed to logged in agents based on a series of hunting preferences. The queues provide a great deal of call statistics which are available in real time.
