High growth Insurance services firm ETWB chooses Hostcomm’s hosted Cisco telephony solution to improve customer services and reduce monthly costs by 50%
ETWB Overview ETWB is an independent intermediary specializing in the provision of insurance and financial products for large enterprises. ETWB is well known for offering technical claims services to the UK's leading insurance firms. It’s experience has been gained through a number of very long-standing relationships that span a period of over 5 years. Few other companies are structured and run with such a heavy emphasis on servicing designated market groups.
The drivers to change their communications infrastructure Prior to a recent relocation to Milton Keynes ETWB was a tenant in a serviced office. Due to the nature of their business ETWB were incurring high service charges from their landlord, telephone call charges were particularly high at around £1,000 per month. IT Support was slow to be provided to ETWB and very costly. Furthermore ETWB were anticipating high growth in their staff numbers and needed a more cost effective communications service.

Hostcomm’s Solution
Hostcomm implemented it’s HostNet hosted Cisco IP Telephony service following a successful free trial to prove the concept. The service is delivered via an 8Mbps ADSL Max connection and includes the following features: - Comprehensive telephony features - DDI number range - Voicemail - Contact centre services (IVR, auto routing, call queuing, - Low rate PSTN dialling via PRI at TeleCity - Remote monitoring and management - Technical support helpdesk
Implementation Hostcomm provided on site engineering services for the implementation of the network infrastructure, connection to the BT ADSL Max broadband line and the handsets. Once installed the HostNet service was activated. This was completed in one day.
